Mediation can be used for several family law legal issues such as divorce, child support or even restraining orders. Mediation is usually less expensive and faster than waiting for a court hearing. Clients have more control over the decisions made, whereas if you go to court the Judge makes the decisions. Our lawyers, once the matters are agreed upon, draft the paperwork, process the documents through the Court and get the Judge to sign the Judgment. Then the case is settled.
If your case is a high-conflict matter and the opposing side is not willing to settle the matter civilly, mediation is not what you are looking for.
Your issue may be time sensitive. Please contact us to set-up an initial consultation.
At The Massachusetts Family Law Group, many of our clients remain close to us for months and years after their divorce or family law matter is over. Our voicemail boxes are clogged with praise and our mailboxes are clogged with holiday cards every year. We love our work and it shows in the results we can obtain for clients.
We would be happy to discuss your family law and mediation matters in a no-obligation consultation. We meet clients as early as 5 a.m. and on weekends. Contact Us
